Moments to remember are those of love.
Those sent by God on the wings of a dove.

I long to embrace the beauty once known.
And that part of life when seeds were sown.

I reminisce the dreams of my gallant youth.
Then I'm forced to face the present truth.

Days of wine and roses have long passed me by.
In my heart is an ache and a tear in my eye.

I cherish the past and anticipate the new.
