In a Wedding Gown

I looked upon the patio, as the sun was going down.
There stood an angel, in a wedding gown.

Her beauty was magnificent, like Nature in the fall.
Then I heard a melody, her sweet gentle call.

When at last we touched, paradise was mine.
She gave me her love to cherish all through time.

Her complexion was softer than a gentle breeze.
More delicate than orchids and beauty to please.

As stars filled the heavens and lit up the night,
The twinkle in her eyes became ever more bright.

An angel wrapped in lace, sent from God above.
She gave me her heart and everlasting love.
