Blue Angels

Today I walked among eagles and watched them take to wing.
Across the clear blue heavens and I heard their engines sing.

They roared just like thunder, as they performed their very best.
They were dressed in blue and gold, surely pleasing their guests.

They set a great example for the youth of our land.
With intelligence, cunning and courage, it's an exhibit so grand.

As I walked among these eagles, I had a feeling I could not hide.
All around the world it's known as the American Pride.

If you ever walk among eagles, thank God for the freedom that's yours.
For it's men in birds like these who protect America's doors.
